The show opens with Busy making some lame prank call to someone with the name H. Dyck. (Think the H stands for Harry? Har har har.) That would be Amanda's hair hanging down in the picture if you were wondering. Amanda drops the penny that Chrissy-from-7C is having a sleepover and that porn and boys will be involved. Way more exciting than what they're doing anyway.
Dom has a new job delivering pizzas and Busy blackmails him into letting them ride in the car with him. Dom is driving recklessly because the rule is that if the pizza arrives cold the customer gets it free. The girls help themselves to a slice of pizza when Dom isn't looking.
Wouldn't you know it, the first pizza is to be delivered to Chrissy's address. Amanda offers to deliver the pizza, claiming that she and Busy were invited to the party anyway. It's a pretty stupid plan, because what if they can't get in the door at all? Dom calls them a "pain in the nose" and happily dumps them on Chrissy's doorstep. Chrissy refuses to pay and then neglects to welcome the two party crashers into her home. Amanda suggests spying on them instead.
Instead of watching porn as rumored, Chrissy and her friends are channeling the spirit of Elvis Presley. Busy decides to try to scare the girls and Chrissy thinks Elvis took a slice of the pizza. TV pizza always looks so gross. Anyway, Busy and Amanda are caught spying through a widow.
Here's where it gets stupid. Busy and Amanda allow themselves to be brought into the house and just sit there listening as the other girls cook up wild ideas for their punishment. Why didn't they just run off, find a payphone? Maybe Amanda subconsciously wanted to be kidnapped if it meant attending a Chrissy party.
At about this time, the boys show up as promised. Justin, of course, his best friend Emma, Busy's future love interest Troy, and some others who aren't important. The no name boys pass around beer. Troy is the designated good guy and Emma is the wimpy nerd. Justin shows some fleeting interest in Amanda by lip syncing some old song in her vicinity.
We get to know Emma a little more as he tells Busy that he and Justin have been best friends since kindergarten. Busy establishes that she and Amanda have "been together" since second grade.
All thoughts of revenge abandoned, Chrissy demands that Busy and Amanda call someone and get the hell out. We go into the kitchen and meet Chrissy's mild-mannered, broken-spirited little sister, a character who manages to be interesting despite being given only a few lines. Amanda gushes over Justin's silent serenade as Busy rolls her eyes and fruitlessly tries to scrounge up a ride. The boys come in looking for more booze. Chrissy comes in and complains that Busy and Amanda are still there. Busy dares Chrissy to make them walk home in the dark...alone. Like Chrissy cares if they get raped.
Chrissy announces that they are going to play Two Minutes in the Closet. Justin's interest in Amanda gains her both some inclusion in the game (using the stopwatch) and Chrissy's wrath. Probably not a good idea to take someone's boyfriend when you are trying to gain their approval. One of the guys goes into the closet with Chrissy's friend and freezes up, causing him to try to save face by humiliating Emma.
Emma is forced into the closet and is forced to stand there listening as all the girls say how they don't want to kiss him. A very real, painful adolescent moment.
Chrissy decides that the perfect punishment for Busy and Amanda is to force them to kiss Emma. Two guys come up and hold them while Chrissy puts lipstick on Busy (Amanda is already wearing some.) When that fails, the boys (sans Troy) try to make Emma strip his clothes off. One of the boys rips off Emma's shirt and he runs out.
The episode ends with Dom, Busy and Amanda offering Emma a ride home in Dom's car. Emma refuses, but not before telling us that his name is actually Emory. A slow, sad version of the outro theme plays as a lone Emory walks home in the snow. Ready or Not had a lot of episodes that didn't end so happily, and this is one of the saddest of them. Some improbable plot twists mar this otherwise affecting episode.
Next episode: Chrissy tricks Amanda into shoplifting.
